Producer :	Gerhard Markowitsch is a representative of the young generation of winegrowers from Austria. Within a few years it has matured from a newcomer to a winemaker, who is also internationally successful with his wines - but he is still straightforward and has both feet on the ground. With his principles of patience, balance, character and technology, he has continuously improved the quality of his wine range.
Region:	The Carnuntum wine-growing region is located in the east of Austria on the border with Hungary and is one of the most historic wine regions in the world. It is proven that the ancient Romans already practiced viticulture here, and they certainly served the results of it with great pleasure. A fantastic cultural landscape that is cooled by the Danube at night and maintains the high summer day temperatures from the Pannonian microclimate - naturally ideal conditions for great wines!

Manufacture :	90% steel tank on fine lees, 10% in barriques
Degustationsnotiz:	In the nose, the typical aromas of gooseberries and agrumen are complemented by coffee notes and the scent of forest herbs. Lots of body on the palate, notes of dried fruit as well as hay flowers and spicy vanilla stems. The wine is very lively and vibrates to the finish.
Drinkability :	year + 3 years
Enjoy:	From shrimp to shrimp to lobster - he likes them all and accompanies them stimulatingly and at eye level. It also grows well with fish dishes with strong seasoning or with heavy sauces. It also harmonises well with hard cheeses.
