Producer : | Between sea and mountains, on the route between Perpignan and the Mediterranean coast, the Domaine Lafage is based in a country house made of old stones from the 15th century. After six generations of winegrowers, the experienced pair of oenologists Jean-Marc and Éliane Lafage are now leading the winery, whose cellar has been completely rebuilt and is perfectly equipped according to the latest international technology. Tasting note: | This ruby red cuvée is balanced and fruity. Its strong bouquet is dominated by notes of ripe forest berries, followed by cherry, plum and sour cherry as well as a hint of vanilla. The first taste of the wine is slightly sweet, with beautiful tannins and a harmonious, full structure. Berries, dried fruit and roasted aromas are rounded off by stone fruit aspects and somewhat spicy attributes (licorice) as well as a long finish. |
