Description

Producer:	Feudi di San Marzano was founded in 1962 as an enthusiastic project of the two well-known winegrowing companies Cantine San Marzano and Farnese. Today, this winery is one of the most famous and certainly the most successful in the Salento region. It shows that good quality and an attractive price do not have to contradict each other. The wines are pressed modern and are by their good quality and the top price very popular everyday wines.
Region	The fertile region of Puglia in the very south of Italy, practically on the heel, stretches 350km along the Adriatic coast. The Mediterranean climate and the well-suited soil create ideal conditions for rich red wines, especially from the Negroamaro and Primitivo grapes.
Variety:	Primitivo di Manduria
Production	The handpicked Sessantanni grapes come from vineyards around the municipality of San Marzano. The expansion is carried out with thermo-controlled fermentation at a temperature between 24-26 degrees Celsius. After fermentation, the wine is stored for a few months in French oak barrels and in large Slovenian oak barrels. Old Vines = old vines. The over 60-year-old vines produce the best and most concentrated grape material. The low rainfall also has a positive impact on quality.
