Producer:	Azienda Poggio Argentiera is a young and upcoming vineyard, located in the Morellino di Scansano growing area south of Grosseto. In 2015, Stefano Frascolla (Tua Rita) took over the estate. From Tua Rita, all know-how in wine-growing, oenology and management is supported. Also was immediately converted to 100% organic farming! With the new wines "Poggio Argentiera Cabernet Franc & Syrah 2015", there is the potential to become one of the elite of Italian wines! Nevertheless, there should not be a copy of the world famous Tua Rita wines. Poggio Argentiera produces very authentic Morellino's, in a traditional style, emphasizing elegance, delicacy and profoundness. This corresponds to the modern trend, but also to what we are always looking for: less opulence, but more typicality and finesse, back to authenticity and elegance.
Region	The Maremma is a landscape in central Italy and covers the entire southern Tuscany and parts of northern Lazio. The Maremma is largely a flat landscape. Only in some places do the hills and mountains of the hinterland extend right up to the coast. Of course, the Maremma with its beaches is also an excellent destination for a beach holiday. The landscape and the worth seeing old cities on the coast and in the hinterland make the region interesting also for culture and nature vacationers. The Maremma has a large number of natural parks and nature reserves. The wines of the Maremma enjoy increasing popularity and all the famous Italian wineries have secured crops here and produce high quality wines.

Production	Extending for 14 months in French wooden barrels. The wine is then bottled for one year before being put on sale.
Tasting Note:	Spontaneous aromas of black berries and spicy spices. Round and smooth on the palate, velvety tannins, underlaid with lots of fruit and very well balanced. Flattering, fruity finish!
