Region:	The Carnuntum wine-growing region is located in the east of Austria on the border with Hungary and is one of the most historic wine regions in the world. It is proven that the ancient Romans already practiced viticulture here, and they certainly served the results of it with great pleasure. A fantastic cultural landscape that is cooled by the Danube at night and maintains the high summer day temperatures from the Pannonian microclimate - naturally ideal conditions for great wines!
