Producer : | The roots of the Cantina di Negrar and the idea of community go far back to the time of the rule of the Republic of Venice in the sixteenth century. The image of the lion of San Marco on a pillar in the center of the village of Negrar is still witness to this today. The cooperative winery was officially founded in 1993 and today has 230 members. A total of over 600 hectares of land are cultivated in the hills and terraces not far from Verona, mainly with red grapes such as Corvina or Corvinone, which form the basis for some of the best Amarone in the Veneto. |

The province of Verona scores with Soave, Valpolicella and Bardolino, as well as with the most popular Italian wine - the Amarone - a top red wine of the country with a world-famous reputation. |
