The young Iacopo Rutili leads the small Tenuta Ceralti in the fifth generation. Ceralti is close to the medieval-looking Tuscan village of Castagneto Carducci, its neighboring village Bolgheri gave the region its famous name. With nine hectares, Iacopo is one of the “dwarfs” in the region, which in our opinion is an advantage. Family is a program and so Iacopo works with his Father Alfeo, who supports him with advice and action. Father and son are both trained agronomists and oenologists, but understand each other primarily as farmers and therefore have an enormous connection to the earth. The great passion of the family and the many handicrafts are a guarantee for wines that have completely inspired us. That is why we are proud to be able to represent this small but fine Bolgheri winery here.

Bolgheri is a district of Castagneto Carducci in the province of Livorno. The region became famous in the wine world in the 1970s when the wine region was first recognized by the magazine DECANTER. The most important branch of industry is viticulture and tourism. The Tuscan wine landscape is interspersed with numerous olive groves and forests. The numerous hills of Tuscany are excellent for high-quality wine growing. They soften high summer temperatures and the soils are excellent for making classic French grape varieties thrive as well as indigenous grapes. Every year in Tuscany, top wines are produced in an amount that no other region in the country has to show.
