Producer: | From the small beginnings of a vineyard in 1945, over the course of three generations, a significant family business has emerged. The founder Jakob Rahm-Huber was a Hallauer original with rough edges. He laid the foundation of the company with the 1959 for the first time under the brand "Count von Spiegelberg" sold, native Hallau Blauburgunder. Thanks to the good sales, the winery can take grapes from other winemakers just two years later, making it an important economic factor for the region. In 2004, the collective company was converted into the Rimuss- und Weinkellerei Rahm AG, which has a new management board and a board of directors. As one of the first medium-sized companies in German-speaking Switzerland, the company received the IFS (International Featured Standards) quality certification. This enables the winery to also offer various services at the highest level. These include contract filling, third party orders as well as the production of customer brands. At the end of 2017, the vintner family Davaz from Fläsch will take over the Hallau tradition of Rimuss and winery Rahm AG from the Rimuss Foundation of the Rahm family. In the future, Rimuss Kellerei AG, the sender of the non-alcoholic products, and the Strada winery Hallau AG will be responsible for the wines produced in Hallau, which are traditionally rich. |
