Our doctors and medical assistants are always up to date and our team stands for care and friendliness.

Our practices are currently in Baden-Württemberg in Bavaria and in Rhineland-Palatinate.

The most modern methods of early detection of various eye diseases are standard for us.

Eye center Eckert: a family practice with tradition and innovation!

Dr. Georg Eckert (senior) ophthalmologist in Sending near Ulm opened the eye practice Dr. Eckert. He has been practicing in Senden near Ulm for 30 years and not only specializes in the most common eye diseases in the elderly and children, but also in cosmetic surgery. “It is precisely this mix that keeps me young,” says Dr. Eckert. Perhaps that is why he has been the press spokesman for the professional association of ophthalmologists in Germany for 17 years.

Dr. Christopher Eckert and Dr. Sophie Eckert, both of whom had been fascinated by the field of ophthalmology from an early age, met during their studies. In 2013 the Eye Center Eckert: Herrenberg was established. Now the perfect symbiosis of conservative and operative ophthalmology has been created. dr Christoph Eckert was politically active as assistant spokesman for the professional association of ophthalmologists and was a board member of the Baden-Württemberg ophthalmologist network.

Physician as a profession and vocation seems to be the maxim here when you enter one of the eye centers. State-of-the-art devices as far as the eye can see. "Only the best for our patients," says Dr. Eckert. The patient must have the feeling that he is the most important person in the world when he enters one of our practices and is treated by us," says Dr. Eckert. In all eye centers treatment is based on the idea that the patient is a close family member. The patients are also advised accordingly.

One concern is particularly important to the three ophthalmologists: standing up for people who have not had the same opportunities as we have in our affluent society in Europe. That is why they support numerous aid projects in various countries.

It may have always been clear that the two young ophthalmologists would become physicians. The Eckert family is home to numerous doctors and a wide variety of disciplines. There are paediatricians, a general practitioner, a psychiatrist, a company doctor, ophthalmologists, an orthodontist, a dentist, and a specialist in epidemiology. Some of them are also active in the third world, like the Eckert family. Even grandma and grandpa were general practitioners and doctors by profession with heart and soul.
