The Vivanco Reserva from the Rioja on the upper Ebro near Briones is a complete and full wine with a lot of maturity.
It is fermented in new and annual, small French and American oak barrels for 24 months.
The bottles remain in the bodega for another 24 months to mature slowly.
The clay and calcareous soil gives the wine a full, dry and very elegant taste.
The aromas of fruit with toasted notes of ripeness are very pure.
The palate is smooth, long and expressive.
Goes well with Iberico ham, red meat and grilled dishes.
