Producer : | It all starts with a nickname, "Braida", which Giuseppe Bologna earned when he played the sport "pallone elastico", which was popular in Piedmont. The head of the family worked as a wagoner and cultivated his beautiful vineyard with Barbera, for himself and his friends. Giacomo Bologna inherited from his father this vineyard and the nicknames, but above all the unconditional love for his soil and wine. He conveyed this love first to his wife Anna, then to his children Raffaella and Beppe. Today the company is an enlarged image of Giacomo and Anna's philosophy, their attitude towards life, the soil and wine. It was Anna who took over the legacy after Giacomo's death and realized the plans that he had begun and dreamed of. At their side, Raffaella and Beppe have for years shared courageous initiatives and important investments in both the wine cellar and the vineyard. Raffaella and Beppe are different siblings: she takes care of the commercial part with verve and ingenuity; he, the more thoughtful and calm, prefers the agricultural part and the production. |
