Description

The Optima Blue Top series lasts longer afloat and, with its seawater-proof poles, is well suited for the marine sector. Optima starter batteries combine the product features of several conventional starter batteries, such as high cold start performance and cycle stability in one product - under almost any condition. The patented Spiralcell technology guarantees longer running times, faster charging and twice the service life compared to conventional ship batteries. The constant vibrations and shaking of the waves can be fatal for conventional ship batteries.
Optima batteries are twisted into a tight spiral, which prevents plate movements and the resulting damage in harsh weather conditions, resulting in an extended battery life. These batteries are especially suitable for applications in the marine sector, in which there is cycle or traction operation. The Optima BT DC 5.5.Bluetop is suitable for all deep cycle
applications (boat accessories, wheelhouse loads, electric motors, bow thrusters) and for launch applications.
