The MXS 7.0 is a fully automatic 8-stage charger with a charging current of 7 A for 12 V batteries between 14 Ah and 150 Ah as well as for the maintenance charging of batteries up to 225 Ah. It has a battery diagnosis that determines whether the battery can accept and hold a charge, a special recond mode for reconditioning deeply discharged batteries in which acid layers have formed, a winter program for charging in cold environments and an option for AGM batteries. The MXS 7.0 can also be used as a power source to supply 12 V devices up to 7 A with power.

STEP 2 SOFT START
Checks the battery's ability to charge. This step prevents the charging process from continuing if the battery is defective.

STEP 3 BULK
Charge with maximum current until approx. 80% of the battery capacity is reached.

STEP 4 ABSORPTION
Charging with a weak current until reaching up to 100% of the battery capacity.

STEP 5 ANALYSIS
Test of the charge retention of the battery. Batteries that cannot hold their charge must be replaced.

STEP 6 RECOND
Select the Recond program to insert the reconditioning step into the loading process. During
the reconditioning step, the voltage is increased in order to generate controlled gas formation in the battery. When the gas is formed, the battery acid is mixed, which gives the battery back energy.

STEP 7 FLOAT
The battery voltage is kept at its maximum value by charging it with constant voltage.

STEP 8 PULSE
The battery capacity is maintained at 95-100%. The charger monitors the battery voltage and gives a charging pulse as soon as necessary to keep the battery fully charged.
